A valuable resource for anyone ministering to the Deaf. Taught by Bonnie Rennie.  "INTERPRETING IN CHURCH" - 1:30-4:30pm - This workshop will be an open discussion about how interpreting sermons differs from interpreting in other situations. In this discussion, we'll talk about how to prepare for this all important mission, discuss how to interpret words from the Old Testament as well as scenarios from the New Testament. Then we'll have some hands on practice with a taped sermon. If time permits, we will also dissect a praise song and transform it into beautiful ASL!  Preregistration cost: $35 per workshop or $60 for both.
