This is an opportunity you do not want to miss - learn from the PROS with direct sign language communication access, from how to identify funders that match your organization’s goals and project to writing an actual grant to meet your fundraising goal. This 4 1/2 day workshop from Monday, May 21 to Friday May 25, 2007 at Gallaudet University will be offered to Deaf non-profit staff members, volunteers and people wanting to become freelance grant writers who are interested in learning how to successfully write grants to foundations, corporations and government agencies. To give each student full and individual attention, the course is limited to 25 participants. Hearing people who sign are welcome as long as they come with a Deaf colleague and send in their registration forms together. Compared to grant writing courses offered at most universities ranging from 2-5K for a semester’s worth of work, the cost for this workshop is only $800, which includes workbooks and lunch.
