April 19, 2008.  The Sign Language Factory is hosting two ASL workshops in the Seattle/Bothell area. The first workshop "Improving Finger Spelling Receptive Skills" will teach you techniques that will help you improve your FS receptive skills! The second workshop "Deaf Idioms" will teach you signs that are particular to the Deaf community but that you don't usually learn in a classroom situation or from a book. Communicate more clearly with the deaf AND understand what the deaf are signing to you! Bill Rennie is a Deaf ASL instructor, performer and lecturer. Don't miss this great opportunity to learn from one of the funniest instructors around! Preregistered cost is just $30 per workshop or $50 if you sign up for both. $10 extra at the door. Stick around for Bill's Deaf Comedy performance "Nobody Famous!" at 7pm. Cost for the performance is just $7 for prepurchased tickets or $10 at the door. For more information or to register over the phone with a cc, please call 714-776-2551. Visit our website at www.signlanguagefactory.net or email slfwow@sbcglobal.net.
