Event-Everyone welcome - Deaf, Hearing, Friends & Family from 11 am to 3pm.
August 1st: Scripps Ranch Community Park. 11am – 3pm *Potluck * Used Book
Exchange* Parent/Child Signing Circle and Discussion * Soccer match* A used book
exchange is free and fun! It is a great excuse to weed out old books and end up
with new material to enjoy. It also promotes early literacy and it provides an
informal atmosphere to share this love of books. Sort through your bookshelves
and find gently used books, for all ages and all topics. Please bring as many
books as you would like to give away. At the end of the day, all remaining books
will be collected and donated. Bring your potluck item, come ready for a
signing circle and come with your hot topics to be discussed! And of course, a
soccer match - Let's see who will walk away with bragging rights, the teens or

August 9-13, 2010. Orange County Sertoma/Goodwill
presents Thirteenth Annual SERTOMA Fantasy Baseball/Softball Camp for Deaf and
Hard-of-Hearing Youth from 9 am to 1 pm at Boysen Park, 951 State College,
Blvd., Anaheim, CA. Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing boys and girls, ages 7-17,
can meet new friends and learn new skills playing baseball or softball from
experienced coaches and trainers. ASL, sign language, oral methods, and cochlear
implants are welcome. Registration fee is $50.00, which includes all camp
events, lunches, cap, T-shirt, and more! Scholarships are available. Afternoon
daycare till 5:30 p.m. can be arranged through the Boys and Girls Club of
