Los Angeles County. These events are open to everyone - Deaf, Hard of
Hearing, Hearing, ASL students and friends, and they help support
DynaMingle's athletic, cultural, educational, recreational, social and

December 5, 2010. Pah! A Sign Language Playgroup! This special
free playgroup is for Mommies (Daddies too!) who are Deaf or who have a Deaf
child (or children) OR who are already fluent in ASL and want their child to be
bi-lingual. This is a group which supports Deaf culture and holds ASL in the
highest regard! The group's aim is to encourage the use ASL in the home,
to offer support to one another as parents, to foster friendships between
parents and children who sign, and to support parents who have Deaf children and
who want to see them flourish using ASL. This is group is for you if:
*You are a Deaf parent who wants to encourage your child to communicate in ASL.
*You are a parent who wants your child to know other children who sign.
*You are fluent or mostly fluent in ASL and want your child to know ASL.
*You are a parent of a Deaf child and you want to learn ASL in order to
communicate with your child AND you want to encourage your child to sign in ASL.

Exchange* Parent/Child Signing Circle and Discussion * Soccer match* A used book
exchange is free and fun! It is a great excuse to weed out old books and end up
with new material to enjoy. It also promotes early literacy and it provides an
informal atmosphere to share this love of books. Sort through your bookshelves
and find gently used books, for all ages and all topics. Please bring as many
books as you would like to give away. At the end of the day, all remaining books
will be collected and donated. Bring your potluck item, come ready for a
signing circle and come with your hot topics to be discussed! And of course, a
soccer match - Let's see who will walk away with bragging rights, the teens or
